New Feature – Comfort Craft Foot Controls
Table Talk with Jim Craft, Owner of Comfort Craft – Electric Soft Touch Foot Controls
When a potential customer call our office, one of the common questions asked is “How many foot pedals come with my custom Comfort Craft Table?”
All Comfort Craft tables come with two Foot Pedals. We believe when a therapist is working on a client they should not have to walk all around the table to adjust the table. The two foot controls can be placed anywhere around the table so the therapist has access at all times. We designed the foot pedals to be light enough to move around the floor with the ability to stretch to the front of the table to the rear of the table. The soft touch pedal makes it very easy to activate the motor with a touch of the foot allowing the therapist to bring the client to where the pressures needed to use their body weight to do the work, therefore reducing the strain on the therapist’s body. The soft touch pedals come with 4 pedals on each panel, which controls the up and down as well as the midsplit up and down. We hear from our table owners that they learn the pedals quickly and love the ability to control their table from all sides. We even offer a third foot control and hand control for those customers that need an extra control for special applications.
New feature-
A new additional feature has been added to the Comfort Craft tables in 2015. All tables foot controls will now come with the ability to be attached to the side of the table to get the controls off the floor for moving, cleaning, etc.
All of the tables come with two foot pedals, one on each side, which will cover from front to rear of the table. Additional controls can be added at the time that the table is being built for your type of work. Available optional controls are listed below: Adding an up and down hand control under the front pad Adding a third foot control to have at the front of table all the time Adding a four button hand control that allows you or your patient to control the table Adding a four button hand control up to 25 feet long.
