Jim’s Edmonton Adventure with James Waslaski

Talk about a “cool” seminar! 

This Florida boy ventured up to Edmonton, Canada for a James Waslaski 5 Day Seminar earlier this month.  As if I was not cold enough, they had the first snowfall of the season.  Yes, the snow was beautiful, but I was not happy, missing my Florida sunshine and warm weather.

It was a great seminar and I had the opportunity to meet lots of new massage therapists from the Canadian Western Flatlands. I have enjoyed a professional and personal relationship with James for years and I still always find his seminars fascinating.  During the years, I have observed the changes in his style and techniques, and always leave his sessions inspired.

One of the highlights of the week was going to a rodeo.  We were right there in the pit with both the cowboys and the bulls which added to the excitement.  Those cowboys are like gladiators when they ride.  This was a new experience for me and all I can say is “WOW”!

I thank Dena Denali, one of our Canadian Comfort Craft table owners and friend, for getting us into the “Heart of the Rodeo“ where we were able to experience firsthand what is involved in running this event.

Canada was beautiful, the people were great, but I sure was glad to get home to the beach and my kiteboard!
