It’s Massage Convention Season

The last few months I’ve had the chance to travel to North Carolina, Kentucky, and North Dakota for their AMTA State Conventions.  I always find it to be an exciting time between meeting Comfort Craft table owners as well as new therapists.

In North Carolina, I bumped into Deborah Stewart who has owned one of our tables since 1995 and her table is still going strong.  It’s great to hear old and new table owners talk about their tables.

Mary Ann Ingram received her table in 2011 and told me “her table has given her the ability to move clients into positions to access and open areas to massage soft tissues that otherwise on conventional tables do not allow.  When I designed the tables and started Comfort Craft, I did it to design equipment that would be a tool to the therapist, yes you want the client to be comfortable but we want the therapist to be comfortable and able to give their best work to each and every client.  When I’m exhibiting at conventions hearing this feedback from our table owners reaffirms our tables and company are exceeding both therapists and clients expectations.

In Kentucky and North Dakota, it was great to see our good friends James Waslaski and Bruce Baltz teaching.  If you haven’t taken a class with one of these great educators, you really should.  Their classes are not only informative but fun too.   James’s seminars focus on orthopedic massage and Bruce Baltz’s seminars focus on Active Isolated Stretching.  My next stop is here in our own back yard at the FSMTA Convention in Orlando, FL. It is always interesting to me how many people from outside of Florida attend this convention. It’s always been a well put on and attended convention.
