Which Comfort Craft Ergonomic Massage Table is for You?

Massage and chiropractors are always trying to improve the quality of their bodywork performance as well as their own durability during each massage session. It can be tough at times to give massages because they can create strain on the muscles, particularly in the neck, shoulders, and arms. This leads therapists to be able to only do a few sessions a day in order to rest their muscles for the next day. However, with Comfort Craft’s massage tables, therapists can increase their energy and provide each client with a highly-effective massage. The reason for this lies in the Comfort Craft shape. Each massage table has a mid-split design, or the bend, and this design removes pressure from the therapist’s muscles and allows the client to be more comfortable. As a result, Comfort Craft has some of the best massage tables in the world! While each table model is great, you might find a specific ergonomic massage table to be ideal for you in its shape and features. Let’s check them out!

Model 100

This ergonomic massage table is a portable and built to the same specification as the line of Comfort Craft bodywork technologies. With the table only weighing 49 lbs., you can easily take it with you on a road trip and even if you’re going on a plane. The handy storage bag contains the 4 AIS Bars, the 4 pads, 8 straps with buckles, 2 Knee Stabilizer straps, and 2 Single Leg straps (approximately 25 lbs.). Comfort Craft has truly created the “on the go “table with the Model 100. It can be opened; bars and straps installed and be ready for use or breakdown in less than 15 minutes. Tested for over two years, it has proven to be a highly effective tool for NFL players and other professional athletes. The Model 100 AIS system comes with 4 main pads and 2 sets of crossover strap. As with all Comfort Craft tables, this system can be easily modified for the custom needs of each individual therapist.

Model 200

With electric sit-up and high-low adjustability, this model is ideal for spa and bodywork services. Dual soft-touch foot controls allow this table to be easily adjusted to the liking of the therapist. Moving from flat to a 75-degree sit-up position, the Model 200 PSU is perfect for a variety of treatments, including spa treatments, prenatal massage, and for treating elderly patients or those
with back ailments. This model can also be raised to standard massage height or adjusted to any height appropriate for the service being performed. At the same time, this model is built for versatility with a very low or high working height, low or high armrests, and minimal foot interference.

Model 300

This ergonomic massage table reduces a therapist’s workload by 50% and allows the patient to relax into a neutral position during the massage. Using the dual foot controls on either side of the table, different body positions are easily obtained. The patient’s position is enhanced by using the power mid-split, which helps relax the patient’s body into a neutral position.

Model 800

This model’s bend puts patients in a relaxed position so therapists can open the back area with little effort. The smooth, electric powered mid-split design dramatically improves treatment because the patient’s back is immediately taken out of compression, unlike on flat tables. Effortless ergonomics are easily obtained using the cutout in the pad to step in close to the body, allowing therapists to use their own weight, not their strength. The therapist can then open and lengthen the body with comfortable strokes. The head pillow aligns the head with the body, which gives the patient total support, helps the release, and aids in the relaxation of the body.

Model 850

This ergonomic massage table has a lateral rear unit, which will move 25 degrees in either direction for working the lower extremities during side-to-side movement. This unique feature was designed for ART (Active Release Technique) and other types of treatment that require movement during therapy. The second new feature is the removable shoulder extension at the front pad area. This design provides a front pad that can change from a 30”/32” wide pad to a 16” wide chest pad that allows for total shoulder movement in the face-down or face-up positions. We add special foam in the center of the pad for chiropractic-type adjustments yet still offer the comfort of a massage table.

As you can see, each Comfort Craft ergonomic massage table has a different shape and features, but they all have the bend that is a must for massage therapists.
